Bloc Projects

Working process- and research-based Susanne Palzer draws from a vast, ever increasing archive: fragments of bodies of work, images, notes, ideas, influences, discourses, and inspirations from the outside world. Recurring themes and issues are often guidelines in ordering the material and in consequently transferring some of it into separate pieces of art works. Her work is analytical, often site-specific, using different media including photography, video, performance, sound, text and installation. Her practice incorporates her own individual work as well as collaborations with other artists and contributions to other artists’ projects.
