Bloc Projects presents Eye Service, a show of recent graduates from across the North of England curated by Daniel Fogarty. This is the second year that Bloc Projects has invited a guest curator to bring together and present a selection of works from this years graduate shows.
Eye Service is the term given to the act of working only when a supervisor is watching. The exhibition takes on a loose curatorial premise of watching, as only one can when selecting work from such a board range of practices. The show does not represent the whole spectrum of recent degree shows across the North, but brings to light a range of intriguing works.
Eye Service brings together the works of Helen Collett (Manchester Metropolitan University), Ben Connell (Sheffield Hallam University) and Alex Lightman (University of Leeds).
