Bloc Projects presents a group show by Sheffield-based artists along with local and national artists who have shown as part of Bloc’s exhibitions programme since its inception in 2005. The work is unified through medium and scale - all pieces are drawing on unframed, A4 paper.
The show is the first in a new series of exhibitions at Bloc Space in 2009 and is partly a reflection on the effects and potential limitations on creative output within the context of a recession.
Each artwork will be for sale through a silent auction, with a reserve price of £20 on each piece. 50% of the income from works sold will go directly towards supporting the continuation of Bloc’s programme.
