Following a residency in Slovakia, emerging artist Greg Thomas presents images of Hrad Castle on the Bloc Billboards. The images of crumbling walls filled with balloons suggest vulnerability and optimism in the face of decay. This celebratory image can be seen as the collective spirit holding the walls in place, a pertinent symbol in uncertain economic times.
